Latest Update Mengenai PSM 2008/2009

Terima kasih atas respond daripada kamu semua.

Keputusan daripada mesyuarat saringan kedua pada 30/6/08:

a) Terdapat beberapa topik yg telah dicadangkan oleh Pkdt telah ditolak atas alasan tidak memenuhi kriteria PSM. Harap maklum dan jika perlu penerangan lanjut,sila call saya

b) Mulai sekarang, AJK PSM telah bersetuju untuk meletakkan calon PSM mengikut bidang pengkhususan pengajian masing2. Erti kata utk :

SZT - perlu mengambil topik2 PSM Bidang Aero
SZM -perlu mengambil topik2 PSM Bidang Mekanikal,Bahan
SZA- perlu mengambil topik2 PSM Bidang Automotif

Jika topik2 bidang tersebut telah penuh iaitu fully booked, barulah kamu (sesiapa yg tidak mempunyai tajuk mengikut bidang kamu) di beri peluang untuk memilih topik2 pensyarah
yang lain. Tetapi tajuk PSM itu mesti lah juga relevan dengan bidang kamu sedikit sebyk dan juga persetujuan penyelia.Mengenai katergori bidang tersebut kamu boleh semak semula listing tajuk dibawah.

Ini bermakna, MINTA MAAF, sesiapa yang booking tajuk bukan bidang pengkhususan, kamu akan berkemungkinan besar akan ditukarkan kepada tajuk yg berkaitan bidang kamu. Sebagai contoh:

Pelajar SZT- memilih tajuk bidang Mekanikal. Kemungkinan booking akan ditolak dan akan disuruh untuk mengambil tajuk bidang SZT. Jika sudah penuh topik SZT, beliau boleh mohon topik mekanikal,bahan atau auto. Tetapi berkemungkinan besar akan dpt topik yg kurang digemari atau diluar bidang pengetahuan kamu (extra revision work)

Dan juga para penyelia juga diberi hak untuk tidak menerima Pkdt jika didapati mereka tidak memenuhi pra-syarat yg telah ditetapkan oleh penyelia.

So harap dapat check balik tajuk2 yang ada sekali lagi pada POSTING DIBAWAH. Ini adalah keputusan daripada AJK PSM dimana ianya adalah bertujuan untuk mengukur prestasi dan keupayaan Pkdt didalam mengaplikasi semua subjek2 yg telah dipelajari mengikut bidang masing2. So GOOD LUCK

A PSM title Screening Meeting was held last Monday 9/6/2008 and please be informed that there are some changes in the titles (minor). Up to date i have yet to received a proposed title by the students.

Again please be informed that the last date to submit your proposal PSM topics is on 23/6/2008. I will not entertain any late submission.

Also the last date of registering PSM topics is scheduled to be until the FIRST WEEK OF JULY 2008. After that..pandai2 laa kamu semua... Kol Khalid have informed me that the Dept will NOT ACCEPT any late registeration. So be professional and pass this message to others.

Tentative PSM Titles

Tentative titles for PSM 2008/2008. Although not yet "confirmed" but its an indication of what type of projects available.Students are also encouraged to do prelimanary background reviews related to interested titles. You can download the complete list here


Students who have their own titles (if any)are encourage to submit them according to the format (please refer handout from your LI Supervisors) before 25th June 2008 for consideration.
